Welcome to the South East Gambling Addiction Support (SEGAS) Service. If you're worried about your gambling or gaming, or if someone close to you is affected, you're not alone. SEGAS is here to help.

We provide free, confidential online support to anyone in the South East of Ireland who is struggling with gambling or gaming addiction. The service is funded by the Department of Health and the HSE. Our one-to-one online secure and confidential video sessions are delivered by addiction specialists who understand the challenges you're facing and can support you to take back control.

Who Is This For?

This service is for anyone in the South East region – including Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow and South Tipperary who:

  • Is concerned about their own gambling or gaming
  • Has been affected by someone else's gambling or gaming behaviour
  • Wants to speak to someone who will listen and support them

You don't need a referral or a diagnosis. You just need to take the first step and book a session.

Gambling and gaming addictions can take many forms. Online betting, slot machines, sports betting, casinos, online games with in-app purchases, or compulsive gaming. These behaviours can affect your finances, relationships, mental health, and future.

But recovery is possible. Talking to someone who understands is often the first step towards making positive change.

    On the next page, enter your name, email, phone number and create a password to manage your bookings.

  3. Agree to the Terms
    Tick the box to confirm you agree with our Terms & Conditions.

  4. Wait for Confirmation
    Our team will contact you shortly with everything you need for your upcoming session.

  5. Check Your Email
    You'll receive a confirmation email including a secure and private video link and the time of your session.

  6. Join Your Session
    When it is time, just click the link from any device such as a phone, tablet or computer to connect with us.

Funding for the South East Gambling Addiction Support Service comes from the Department of Health via the HSE Social Inclusion Service in the Southeast and is a collaboration between the HSE, the Cornmarket Project and the South East Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force.
